Last week, the Oppo R15 was released with a similar look just like the tech giant Apple’s iPhone X. Now OnePlus – which shares designs with Oppo – has confirmed that its new upcoming flagship smartphone, of course, the OnePlus 6 will also feature the “notch”. The information was released by The Verge in an interview with Carl Pei, co-founder of the company. According to him, the OnePlus 6 notch will not be implemented because of the visual: the idea of the company is to increase the space for the content displayed on the screen. The executive says the OnePlus 6 “notch” needs to be a bit bigger than the Essential Phone – the first device to adopt the change on its screen – to avoid harming the audio output and the front camera. At the same time, the phone will not have sensors similar to Face ID, so the notch will be smaller than the iPhone X. To ensure that the change will not affect the user experience, OnePlus employees manually tested the 1,000 most popular apps in the Play Store. The purpose was to check which ones would need a compatibility mode for the new screen. The company does not give more details about the new smartphone but states that this will be its largest screen ever manufactured. However, due to the use of the frontal area, the device will not be larger than the previous ones. Other information was released recently by Evan Blass, famous for advancing releases. A photo published by him on Twitter indicates that the OnePlus 6 could also be released in a version with wood in the back.

The camera is dual, and the digital player is placed below it. So, what do you think about this? Simply share all your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
