Recently the hackers hacked Facebook owner’s Twitter and Pinterest accounts and they seem to be openly posting the messages celebrating their victory. Mark Zuckerberg normally don’t tweet much, but an unexpected increase of twitter tweets makes people suspicious about unauthorized access. According to the sources, the team responsible for this hack named “OurMine” who claims to regain password of Mark Zuckerberg from the database of about 117 million passwords hacked from another social media network LinkedIn in the year 2012 and this enormous database were made public last week through which OurMine team got access to the database logins and used the similar password to get access to the twitter account. As OurMine team had hold the Linkedin Datadump which contains millions of passwords including Mark Zuckerberg, they were able to gain access to his Twitter account where they tweeted “you were in Linkedin Database … DM for proof”
— Ben Hall (@Ben_Hall) June 5, 2016 OurMine also gained access to Mark Zuckerberg’s Pinterest account and changed the account name to “Hacked by OurMine Team”, which indicates that this notorious hacker group “OurMine” wanted to come into the spotlight as we see they had made it. The Hacker group also tweeted “Twitter & Instagram & Pinterest, we are just testing your security, please dm us” Sources claim that Mark Zuckerberg’s Instagram and Google+ accounts were not hacked. However, OurMine claims they have already got access to the same. As it appears that this cyber attack was favorably done due to reusing the old passwords, which is a very vulnerable practice.
