Well, the tech giant had just shown off the new version of the Linux-based operating system and claimed that Tizen 4.0 OS has a wider range of applications to devices. Let me tell you Tizen 1.0 was announced at Tizen developer conference 2012, after that, the operating system had reached almost all of Samsung’s products. Samsung had already brought Tizen to smartphones, televisions, etc., and it is now preparing to merge Tizen 4.0 into more household and IoT devices.
Samsung has also entered into a collaboration with Microsoft, which will enable developers to expand the Tizen application in an easy way with popular programming languages. C# developers can make Tizen apps using .NET and Xamarin framework. Samsung newsroom stated, “In order to expand the ecosystem of Tizen-based IoT devices, Samsung is planning to strengthen cooperation with chip makers such as Samsung ARTIK and Broadlink in China; smart home device manufacturer Commax in Korea; and the location based service provider Glympse in the U.S.” You can find out more information about Tizen 4.0 here.
