Is MW2 a Remake or Remaster?
To be clear, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is not a remake. Along with 2019’s previous entry, the new Modern Warfare saga is a reboot of the trilogy that concluded in 2011. This allowed Infinity Ward the chance to restart the story that culminated in 2011, allowing the team to tell a much more mature story while bringing back plenty of fan favorites such as Ghost and Captain Price.
